what the resion of doing soot blowing in the boiler ?

Q.what the resion of doing soot blowing in the boiler ?

Ans.To achieve proper heat transfer & get rid off local combustion in different pressure parts or heat transfer zones.

To remove soot depositions over pressure part to achieve max heat transfer

Tube serface cleening ke liye

the soot basically carbon deposits after fuel combustion . this soots reduce heat transfer so it is compulsory to remove this soot .

there are basically two reasons to remove soots: 1. as said above, soots(products of coal combustion ) gets deposited on tubes tending towards low radiant heat transfer in first pass n low convective heat transfer in second pass of boiler deteriorating boiler effficiency and 2.due to depotion of soot, tube overheating problem will occur tending towards boiler tube failure
