Ans.boiler mountings are necessary for operations properly of boiler. but accessories are not necessary for properly operating

- Mountigs are those parts of boiler to protect bursting of boiler and accessories increase boiler efficiency accesories are only for increase boiler efficiency & mountings are operational part Safety valve ,pressure gauge ,fusible plug,blow off cock valve etc are comes in catagory of monting
- Economiser,air heater ,super heater etc are comes in accessories
- Accessories are used only to use heat going got in flue gas it helps in increasing the efficiency of the cycle.where as mountings are for boiler safety and for operation purpose.
- mounting are those parts who directly connected with boiler & it is necessry for boiler operation for example pressure gauge , safety valve , air vent valve, gauge glasses , blow down valve , feed check valve , stop valve ,
- accessries are used for increased boiler efficiency & they are unnecessry for boiler operation for example ecnomizer , super heater , regulators etc
